Am I an hourglass figure if I tell you where my fat gets stored and what my measurements are?
I've been going to the gym constantly since sept. 09 so I'm still in the process of losing more weight. I'm 23, 5'4 1/2, 173 pounds down from 185 (trying to go back to being 140 lbs) and my measurements are 40DD-29-41. My shoulder width is 41. Are my measurements considered hourglass? because from the way I am shaped I thought I would be an apple or a rectangle. When I put on weight, fat gets distributed everywhere but my chest and stomach seems to get the least amount of fat (for an overweight person my stomach is kinda flat). I did go up a cup size in my chest though.
When i look in the mirror, i get the feeling that im a rectangle and then from looking at pics online i think i am an apple but my butt isn't anywhere near being flat nor does most of my weight go to my stomach. Am i an hourglass even though in the mirror i cant see curves and i look straight up and down?
It's all in the eyes of the beholder. You're probably on your way but got a bit more to go.
